    THE NATIONAL GRAND SECULARITY PRIZE AWARDED TO JEAN-LUC PETITHUGUENIN

    On Monday, 27 October 2014, Jean-Luc Petithuguenin, Chairman and founder of Paprec Group, was honoured at the ninth awarding of the Prix de la Laïcité, at the Mairie in Paris, in the presence of the mayor of Paris, Mme Anne Hidalgo, president of the jury, Jean Glavany, member of the lower house and former minister, and Patrick Kessel, President of the Comité Laïcité République, organiser of the event. The “National Grand Prize” was awarded for introducing a secularity charter in the company. The charter was adopted unanimously by employees and contributes to a real spirit of living together at work.

    Francois-Xavier Danel succeeds William Lebec and joins Paprec Group as Group Sales Director.

    François-Xavier Danel was previously Sales Director France for the Finnish/Swedish company Stora Enso, the world's second-largest paper producer.

    TWO EXCEPTIONAL WOMEN JOIN THE PAPREC GROUP BOARD

    These two women, Isabelle Boccon-Gibod and Catherine Ronge, are exceptional both for their careers and their personalities and have joined the Paprec Group board.

    Isabelle Boccon-Gibod, a graduate from the Ecole Centrale de Paris and the University of Columbia, was Executive Director at Sequana and Executive Vice President of the Arjowiggins Group. She has been Chairwoman of the Paper, board and Cellulose Industry Confederation. She is also a photographer and the author of Fors Intérieurs, a work devoted to portraits of mathematicians.

    Catherine Ronge, a graduate from the Ecole Normale Supérieure, an associate professor in physics, is president of weave AIR, a consultancy specialising in forecasting, innovation and sustainable development, which she set up in 2006. As someone passionate about ecology, she ran research and development activities for the Air Liquide group before taking up positions as Deputy Managing Director for Degrémont, then European and International CEO for Ondeo Industrial Solutions, subsidiaries of Suez Environnement involved in water treatment.
